Through the directions of His Majesty King Abdullah the Second and the
follow up of HRH Princess Muna Al Hussain; a work plan was set to
improve the quality of nursing services and to find a mechanism to solve
the current nursing challenges mainly the unemployed male nurses
problems.
Collaboration among different institutions; Ministry of Health, Ministry
of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Jordanian Nursing Council,
Ministry of Labor, Royal Medical Services, Private Hospitals Association
resulted in hiring about 700 male nurses in different health sectors. |
