The
Council comprises of a President appointed by Royal Decree(Her Royal
Highness Princess Muna Al Hussein)
and by members as follows:
1.
The Secretary- General of the Ministry of Health- as vice president.
2.
The
Secretary- General.
3.
The
Secretary- General of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific
Research.
4.
Three
of the deans of nursing faculties at the Jordanian public universities at
intervals among them for a period of two years pursuant to a President's
decision:
-
Al-al Bayt University
- Mutah University.
- Jordan University of Science and
Technology
5.
The
dean of the nursing faculty in any of the Jordanian private universities
at intervals among them for a period of two years pursuant to a
President's decision:
- Al-Ahliyya
Amman University
6. The director of nursing at the Ministry of Health.
7. The
director of nursing at the Royal Medical Services.
8. The
chairman of the Jordan Nurses and Midwives Council.
9. The
president of the Private Hospitals Association.
10.
One
of the directors of nursing in any educational hospital at intervals among
them for a period of three years pursuant to a President's decision:
- King
Hussein Cancer Center
11.
Two
experts in nursing and a representative of the local society chosen by the
President for a period of two years:
