Mrayyan has her Ph.D. in Nursing Administration/ Hospitals
Management- The University of Iowa/USA- Faculty of Nursing-2002

| Dr.
Mrayyan is a distinguished researcher; she has 55 published, under
review and in progress research papers. Currently, she serves as a
member of the Editorial Board of the “Journal of Nursing
Management- USA." Her research focused on: Electronic Data
Collection, Standardize Languages, Medication Errors, Quality of
Care, Nurses’ Autonomy, Nurse Managers’ Actions, Patients’
Satisfaction, Nurses’ Job Satisfaction and Performance,
Nurses’ Retention, Patient Safety, Career Commitment, and Job
Stressors and Social Support. |
| On
the international and national levels, Dr. Mrayyan is very active;
she is involved in many committees and multidisciplinary research
projects such as Problem-based Learning with The University of
Glasgow Caledonian at the United Kingdom, Quality Assurance in
cooperation with The University of Cincinnati and The University
of Toledo, Social Work with Brunel University and Reading
University, United Kingdom, and Community-based Rehabilitation
Center at the Hashemite University |

In
2007, Dr. Mrayyan and the team of the School of Nursing (SON)
participated in an International Quality Assurance Project;
Al-Hussein Center for Excellence invited An American Accreditation
Association to evaluate the Quality of Education at the SON. Our
school obtained the first rank among all governmental and private
universities.
In
2005-2006, our SON obtained the second rank among all SONs at
governmental and private universities in the National Qualifying
Exam. |

At
the 10th anniversary of establishing the Hashemite University, Dr.
Mrayyan was honored by the President of the Hashemite University
as one of the Best Faculty Members in regard to obtaining external
research funding. Also, Dr. Mrayyan was nominated for many
national prizes such as Best Medical Researcher Prize 2007 and in
2006; Shoman's Prize for Medical Sciences 2006; Best Research/
Medical Sciences 2005; and the Best Young Female for the academic
year 2003-2004 |
