1.
Increase the educational grants for the female students, which offered
from students support funds of the ministry of higher education and
scientific research for nursing in Jordanian universities.
2.
Increase the
proportion of acceptance of females in the nursing programs in the lists
of exceptions (the military honor, less fortunate, etc).
3.
Abolishment of
the requirement of seven years for the associated nursing and midwifery
programs graduates, to increase the opportunity for more associated
nurses to bridge at the Jordanian universities, as a part of solving the
problem of the acute shortage of nursing staff in Jordan.
4.
Allow the
associated degree nurses, who had completed a course in midwifery that
ranging between (40-65) credit hours ,and validated from AlBalqa
University, which was held at the Royal Medical Services Nursing
college, to bridge to bachelor degree in midwifery in the Jordanian
universities, and the credit hours and training are calculated according
to universities laws and regulations.
5. Allow
the bachelor‘s degree nurses ,who
had post basic program in midwifery which was held at Princess Muna
College of Nursing during the period (1986-1999), to bridge to the
higher diploma degree in midwifery at Mutah University
and calculating the training materials obtained
according to the laws and regulations in force. |
