Simulation Center

The Jordanian Nursing Council Simulation Center (JNC-SC) was established in 2021 to provide students and practitioners with hands-on training opportunities during their learning journey. The Center was developed in its current structure to include two main units:
    1.    Life Support Unit
    2.    Simulation Unit

Together, these units create a comprehensive training environment that delivers up-to-date, evidence-based learning experiences across the cognitive, psychomotor, and affective domains.

The Simulation Center aims to offer a wide range of training programs for students, residents, physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals across the Arab region, with the goal of enhancing clinical performance in a safe and controlled environment.

The Center’s resources range from simple simulation tools and task trainers to low- and high-fidelity simulators. It also features a customized audio-visual system designed to control, record, and review simulation-based sessions for debriefing. This system supports data collection for reporting, continuous improvement planning, and research purposes.

Facilities:

  •  6 rooms for OSCE Examination well prepared for medical and nursing exams, and connected to audiovisual system  ( SMOT System ).
  • 2 Medium fidelity Adult Manikins.
  • 2 Medium Fidelity Pediatric Manikins.
  • 2 Medium Fidelity Infant Manikins.
  • 3 rooms prepared with high fidelity manikins used for training and real patient simulations.
  •  Adult Sim: Sim Man.
  • OB-GYN Sim: Sim Mom.
  • Pediatric Sim: Sim Baby.
  •  AHA Training Room: MegaCode Kelly.
  • 2 control rooms connected with the audiovisual system controlling the high-fidelity manikins.
